New project! With beautiful bridesmaids' dresses chosen in my favourite colour - dove grey - and a love of lavender, we embarked on a small DIY for the wedding. Filling old fruit crates will bundles of lavender plants to place around wedding venue.
Step one: staple hessian to the inside of the crates and cut wholes in the bottle for drainage.
Step two: fill with soil.
Step three: add gravel, mix in and water.
Step four: add plants and water again.
Now we just watch them grow! We have also realised we maybe should have varnished the wood - check back for updates.
Thank you to Eddie for his help!
